Justine of Terra and Tide met us as we stepped off the ferry from Auckland to Matiatia on lovely Waiheke Island. She was the perfect guide for a tour based on local art, as she appears to know every artist’s studio, art gallery, and art-filled shop on the island. We walked through a sculpture park in a beautiful setting, had our delicious lunch on the open porch of an artist friend’s house, and met some wonderful artists. Justine made the adventure special. We were scheduled for a different tour, but the weather had other plans. Justine didn't miss a beat. She listened to what we were interested in and took us to some interesting places I am sure we would never have seen otherwise. Definitely one of the best tour guides we've ever had...and one of the experiences we'll be talking about as a family for a long time.
