A wine and food extravaganza Tasting and Grazing the day away on the beautiful Island of Waiheke. Enjoy stunning views of the island's beaches, villages, and homes while learning about the local culture and people, history, geography. Try Waiheke wines from Rose, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, sparkling wine, and Syrah and Bordeaux blends.; 11 am Casita Miro, a Spanish-style vineyard with Wine and Food Pairings, a rustic vineyard with lots of personality.
Next, we will head to Onetangi Valley and visit the award-winning Stonyridge Vineyard at 1230pm we will have 1.5 hours here for gourmet food platters, these platters are divine and very plentiful you will also enjoy a glass of wine with your lunch + views.
We will conclude our tour with a visit to Cable Bay Vineyard at 245pm where you will indulge in delectable wine and dessert pairings. The vineyard's award-winning chef will prepare these sweet treats exclusively for you, perfectly paired with their exceptional wines.

Our Professional Guides will meet you at the Matiatia Wharf at 1040 am and take you on a wine tour experience like no other, we will be at the ferry terminal with a welcome board with your name on it. Waiheke Wine Tours only hire the best LOCAL guides with local knowledge on the Island to ensure you have a fantastic day out on Waiheke. Please note that the availability of vineyards is subject to change, and if necessary, vineyards of the same quality will be substituted.

Unique vineyards and great scenery. Wines were about average but food and dessert offered was very good !

I'd visited Waiheke Island once before, the last time I was in Auckland just over 10 years ago so I was really looking forward to getting back and exploring the wineries a bit more this time. Couldn't have asked for better weather and an enjoyable day with our small group of 6 people. Grant, our guide knows the island well and took us on smaller road the larger buses couldn't have navigated to ensure we we take in the views of this picturesque place. We visited three wineries and had food to eat at each one - all provided lovely views, a variety of wines and great atmosphere. The only thing I would have changed was to take this tour on a week day as all the wineries were PACKED- it was a Saturday and stunning weather so a perfect day for wine tasting. But as a solo traveler I wanted to ensure that the tour would run and not be canceled if noone else signed up so I choose a Saturday for a better shot. Would definitely do this tour again the next time I find myself in Auckland.

The trip is set up with wine and pairings and was amazing. The education we got and to be able to understand how to pair and the differences it made were fabulous. Beautiful settings and small group. Wonderful day and if you are looking for a great starter activity to overcome jet lag or catch on your way out absolutely do this.

Our tour guide Grant was fantastic. Very enthusiastic and knows where to go. The visits to the 3 local wineries were excellent where especially the 1st one -Casita Miro - was exceptionally good. You could feel the passion of making wine from all staff working there. A must whenever you visit Waiheke island.

My Husband agreed to a wine tour for our Honeymoon even though he doesn’t drink wine, or any alcohol really. He loved the tour guide with intricate local knowledge and the food pairings were amazing. By the second stop he had not only been tasting wine and then letting me finish them, but found a pinot gris he actually likes!! Needless to say we purchased a bottle and had a really great time on such a beautiful island.
