The tour was quite good made better by an excellent tour guide. The boat part of the tour was a unique experience. It was pricey at $75 NZD though as I believe that they have experienced high demand with limited capacity. What really annoyed me and why I have marked them down is misleading pricing by one of their agents, La Vacanza Travel. I did some research and noticed that they had the lowest price. It is only when you go through the booking and about to pay that they disclose the price is USD. Yes, I could have stopped at that stage but could not be bothered starting the process with another agent but could not be bothered. Ended up costing $78NZD. The tour company should not be using such dodgy agents.

Out of three glow worm experiences (cave kayak in Rotorua, Waitomo tour) this was my favorite. Our guide, Nathan, kept the tour entertaining and informative with impeccable pacing. Very, very cool and varied cave formations, cave creek, and tour layout. Plus, of course, the glowworms! We were able to see them very close up and capture some amazing photos. Great mix of accessibility and conservation. Plus, farrrrrr less crowded than the Waitomo tours down the street on the day we did both.

This was such an amazing tour. Significantly better but yet different than the Glow Worm cave tour down the street. I booked this thinking my party was going to get bored after the Glow Worm Cave tour but this was so amazing, different and fascinating.

Fabulous tour and well worth the money. Our guide (Wi ) was excellent , very knowledgeable and it was clear he was an experienced caver. He interacted in a way which interested people of all ages, he had a lovely sense of humour and was very accommodating to the range of fitness levels within the group. We had a great day and my friend from the UK was most impressed too. We will definitely recommend this tour to family , friends and overseas guests.
