I was having a difficult time finding a tour company that provided pickup and drop off from our hotel and offered service last minute (we literally booked the night before). I reached out to La Vacanza Travel and was put in touch with Mariel and she patiently helped me find the perfect driver. She set us up with Gee who picked us up in his very clean and comfortable Suburban at the Gaylord Resort at National Harbor. Gee was very knowledgeable of the Washington area and we were able to customize our tour to the sites we wanted to see and leave others out. You’re conveniently dropped off and picked up right in front of each attraction and we were able to stroll around at our own pace, never feeling rushed. We even visited one of the museums while he patiently waited. Gee offered us bottled water and snacks and even umbrellas since it started to drizzle. We’re all so glad we got to see such a remarkable city full of history and appreciate Gee for making it a pleasant experience. In case we ever make it back to DC I have his contact information saved and will not hesitate to call on him again.

Grigor from Best service limo was a great tour guide with over 30 years experience! He picked us up at Reagan Airport and started tour right away, highly recommended!

Amir was our driver and we were so lucky so have him. He was extremely nice and took care of us like family. Since it was a private tour we were able to add some places that we wanted to stop and see. We were able to get out of the car and take pictures and he was always right there to pick us back up. I booked this at the very last minute as we were leaving Virginia and heading to the airport, it worked out great and we got dropped off at the airport also. Amir knows so much information about the history of DC and told us all about the sites we were seeing. This tour was worth the money and it was great having just my husband and myself instead of a big bus. I feel we saw more sites and were able to stay a shorter or longer amount of time to enjoy places that appealed to us. We will be taking another tour and requesting Amir on our next trip to DC.

Overall, the tour was adequate. However, we did not go to all of the stops listed on the itinerary. We were given no time limits but then were rushed at the end. Certain points of interest were not pointed out while driving. The driver was friendly but there was a mild language barrier.
