Overview

If you're new to white water rafting trips, no worries, as you have four miles of relatively calm water to learn the paddle commands and how to paddle effectively as a team. Along the way there are incredible views into Glacier National Park's dramatic terrain.

Once you get to John Stevens Canyon the river picks up speed and your adventure really begins. You'll need all of that practice from upstream to execute the commands in the white water. With rapids like Bonecrusher, Jaws and the Notch (to name a few) your crew is sure to have an exciting time.

Our Half Day White Water Trips offer an exciting day of Class II-III rapids and breathtaking views along the southern boundary of Glacier National Park.

Trips depart rain or shine. No experience necessary. Trip times depend on the season and may be shorter when river levels are higher.

No maximum weight - must be able to buckle a 58" chest life jacket. Minimum age 5, minimum weight of 45 pounds. Minimums may be higher in the early spring season when river levels are higher.

    My husband and I enjoyed our travel down the Middle Fork Flathead River. If your looking for constant rapids and think as a novice you can handle that, you're very mistaken. This is Class 2 & 3 rapids which is perfect for the novice. It's beautiful views but also a team sport. The guide does most of the work and the guests assist with coordinated paddling for speed. It's a serious effort but loaded with fun when you hit the Class 3. The only unfortunate thing was the photographer had finished the season before our booking so not commemorative photo but we took some ourselves - just not during the action. Dress to get wet.

    Level 2 and 3 rapids great for a first time rafting! Water flow was definitely lower due to being there in September. Our guide Justin was very skilled and knowledgeable! Would definitely do again! Complimentary wetsuits, jackets, water boots, helmets, and fleeces to wear were great. Only wish I would’ve brought my waterproof phone case for pictures!

    We had a great time! Abigail was knowledgeable and friendly. This is a trip meant for the general public so rapids were well within what is safe- class 2 and 3, she said. The facilities were great and provided (much needed) wetsuits, rain jackets and fleece. It was fun!

    Abigail was our guide and Justin was our trip leader; they were both fantastic! We’ve been rafting in other states but nothing compares to the beauty you’ll see on this trip. Abagail was informative, engaging and fun! This is a family-owned company and the best we’ve rafted with!

    This was a great trip! Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had Justin as our guide and he was amazing! Loads of fun and also just great to chat to as you float down the river. We went early September, class 1/2/3 rapid and it was alot more relaxed than I expected but still very worth it! The photos they get of you are also so good!
