Oh my goodness, I just had the most amazing half-day safari tour with Ajith Safari Jeep Tours in Udawalawa! Our driver-guide was an absolute gem - so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wildlife we saw. We spotted elephants, water buffalos, crocodiles, and even a couple of leopards! I was bouncing in my seat with excitement the whole time. And let me tell you, this tour is sustainable and eco-friendly in the best way possible. I could see how much the company cares about protecting the environment and the animals. It made me feel so good to be a part of something that's making a difference. I can't recommend Ajith Safari Jeep Tours enough! They made my trip to Sri Lanka unforgettable, and I'm already thinking about when I can book my next tour with them. If you want to have an adventure of a lifetime and feel good about doing it sustainably, this is the tour company for you. Thank you, Ajith Safari Jeep Tours, for an experience I'll never forget!
Amazing adventure with knowledgeable guide who knew the park well. Peaceful adventure with loads of elephants and other animals to see.
Amazing tour! The guide was fantastic and spotted so many animals for us. He explained us everything in a very proper English and also had a book of animals with him. We got snacks and a spyglass to identify even the smallest birds.
This experience was fantastic!! We decided to the afternoon tour, and we saw everything! From elephants, to birds and lots more! We even saw a Trusk elephant which our guide has not seen in a while! Guide and the driver were friendly, knowledgable and it was a pure joy to be out with them watching wildlife! We highly recommend!
We hired Ajith Safari Jeep Tours for a private Udawalawe National Park safari and would recommend this tour company to others. We opted for the half day (afternoon) safari with door-to-door service from our guest house in Tissamaharama and paid 20,000 LKR (rupee) for approximately 4.5 hours. Our guide, Sakun Rusiru, was excellent! He was on-time, communicated easily in English, expertly navigated Udawalawe to find a variety of animals (including a herd of elephants that were only an arm's length away from the vehicle, crocodiles, spotted deer, and the elusive jungle cat) and was keen share his knowledge of the wildlife, particularly about the many species of birds in the park. We hired a separate company for a morning safari of Yala National Park and would recommend Ajith's safari in Udawalawe without hesitation over our experience at Yala National Park.
