Watching the orphan elephants jostle for their fare share of food at feeding time - just like schoolkids.

This national park is wonderful and Our driver is very considerate and knowledgeable. There are so many elephants here and we were lucky to have done very close encounters with them! Further to this there is a good chance of seeing amazing birds (we saw a changeable hawk eagle, grey fishing owls in their nest and hornbills amongst others); water buffalo; deer and crocodiles. There is a lot of space and the scenery in itself was worth the drive but this is an amazing lifetime experience.

We had an excellent tour in Udawalawe NP. Our driver/guide Sakun is knowledgeable and had hawk eyes to find animals. Sakun is the star he know every corner of the park. Definitely recommend Sakun and the operator.

We had a great time on this tour and it was one of the highlights of our trip! Sakun was a great tour guide and we got to see lots of elephants. Watching the baby elephants get fed in the transit home was also fantastic
