My wife and I joined the last York Floodlit Evening Cruise of the season, which despite the cold weather, we had a very enjoyable relaxing cruise, watching the river go by. We saw York in a different light, if you pardon the pun, as we sipped our Prosecco to the chorus of birds singing. The cruise encouraged us to walk and explore the riverside the following day. The Captain and crew member made us very welcome. After a day walking this is what we needed. Thank you City Cruises

Beautiful and relaxing cruise, Alison captained the vessel and gave us an interesting, fact packed commentary in a gentle humourous manner. The boat was clean, timings efficient and hot/cold drinks were available. Highly recommended as a relaxing way to finish a busy days sightseeing

We took the early evening fish and trip cruise last night and had a great night. The staff on board were all lovely, polite and helpful and the commentary as we sailed was very interesting giving details of York’s history along the river. As we set off the fish and chips were served to our reserved table and we also had a complimentary glass of wine as our original trip had to be re arranged. All together made for a very enjoyable evening which I would highly recommend to visitors to York and residents alike.

Loud groups just drinking. Couldn't hear the commentary before of the drinkers. Not much to see from the river.
