The good thing about having an experienced tour guide is that they can tell you some of the history of Sagrada Familia, and while you are in the cathedral, they can show you some of the special features of the structure. Sagrada Familia has dramatic sculptures on the facade, and our guide was able to describe the significance of the figures. Inside, she was able to talk about the columns, windows, etc., and point out how beautiful the inward streaming light is (multi-colored). I'd suggest getting tickets as early as possible. We did not get to go up in the towers, as tickets were not available. It is also helpful if you take time to learn about Gaudi and Sagrada Familia before you visit the cathedral. It is a magnificent building.
Oliver is a very interesting local guide, I recommend . Amd he is local from this neighborhood which gives a personal touch to the story.
This tour guide was unbelievable and absolutely breathtaking! Oliver did an amazing job giving the tour and was very informative. Highly recommend booking this tour with him.
The tour guide (Antonia) was great, and the building is incredible! The battery for my audio guide ran out half way through so I had to share a device with another guest.
Oliver was our energetic and reverent guide and the experience was amazing, learning many things until leaving us to explore on our own and stay as long as we wanted. We went to the school and the museum (museum with the rope/bird feed system was very interesting) and was pleased to hear if there was appropriate time given, we could even go to daily mass here.
