This was truly a memorable experience that was elevated by our guide Sabina, whose knowledge, enthusiasm and perspective made it an outstanding adventure to historíes past. La Alhambra is stunning in beauty and architecture. Perhaps, one of the few most impressive structure and palaces built during the conquest of Spain by the Muslims. These buildings are enhanced by beautiful gardens, fountains and water springs that run through the grounds and inside a palace. It’s a must place to visit and if you do ask for Sabina!

Our guide, Ruth, was an absolute pleasure and made this tour a +10. A native Spaniard, Ruth lives in Granada and is steeped in knowledge not just about Alhambra and Granada, but Spanish history. She weaves social, cultural, political, religious and military history together with such facility in wonderful stories while walking you through all palaces at Alhambra and it’s grounds, you don’t note how much education you’re getting. She knew every inch of the site, and bent over backwards to make our tour the best possible. An excellent host as well, her communication coordinating our initial meeting through assistance in calling a taxi to depart were most gracious. She gave us an extra 30-minutes on our tour to ensure we covered everything we wanted to see, and was never stumped in answering our questions. Lovely lady, excellent english speaker, and clearly well known and respected by both the checkpoint staff and her peers among guides. Outstanding expenditure us. We’ll worth every Euro! Thank you!
