Dress up like a Swiss cheese chef and pose in front of our giant fondue pot (one of the biggest in Switzerland)
After having learned about the history and cultural significance of cheese fondue in Switzerland (we bet you never heard of the Swiss cheese mafia and their cheese conspiracy) you will learn about the different types of Swiss cheese, taste them paired with nice wines and then use them to make your own cheese fondue from scratch. Our fondue pizza is next in line where you will do surprising things with cheese you thought unfathomable before.
Our unique fondue games will make create a fun & competitive bonding spirit.

What Can You Expect?

Switzerland’s national dish fondue has more to it than meets the eye. Apart from being delicious, creamy and full of flavour it has a surprising history, makes for an excellent shared group meal and is heaps to fun to cook from scratch yourself. Fondue Villa’s cheese fondue cooking class combines all these features in one fun, engaging & educative fondue workshop experience. Dress up like a Swiss cheese chef then learn to make your own traditional Swiss cheese fondue from scratch using local Alpine cheeses while learning about the history and cultural significance of this Swiss national dish.
Next to making your own fondue you will create a fondue pizza, play fondue garden games, sample cheese paired with local wines and learn a lot of fun facts about cheese, fondue and Switzerland.

    We had so much fun doing this cooking class! Who knew the history of cheese fondue was so exciting 😄 The location was the best in Interlaken, with spectaculair views all around! We loved the relaxed atmosphere and our host was just the best! Would highly recommend this experience!

    Even when you think you know fondue, this is the place to go! Beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere, the food is fantastic and the wine plenty. Get ready to get busy, because you're going to be a fondue chef!

    Fantastic day, couldn’t have asked for more! The Cheese, wine tasting, Fondue, Fondue games and views were incredible and our Chef Morena was great! Would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn fondue and just have an super nice afternoon :)

    Loved loved the food workshop. The set up was in this beautiful garden with a view of the Junkfrau, Monch and Eiger in the back. It is not just a cooking workshop, so much more!! You get history lesson of the fondue, tasting all kind of wines that fit super nice with the cheese, learing how to make fondue but also how to make a fondue pizza and in between some fun fondue games. It was a super chill, fun & delicious experience. Definitly worth the money!
