Lovely day out the city stretching my legs and enjoying the quiet! Lovely time with June, great laughs and conversation and the walk done at a decent pace!

This small group hike is the perfect way to escape the city and throngs of tourists. Our guide Howard was extremely knowledgeable about the countryside and kept us engaged and interested.

Stefan is a great guide; knowledgeable and fun. Our hike was scheduled for a very hot day (39C/over 100F). He suggested modifications that were wonderful and still allowed us to visit the aqueduct. He added in a short hike along a beautiful river running through a canyon and found us a lovely picnic spot.

The final stretch across the aqueduct itself and along ravines was most memorable but we really enjoyed the whole day. 15km taken at a steady pace with some significant climbs. The aqueduct might be hard for people with troublesome vertigo.

The chosen route was absolutely amazing, I really loved hiking through historical sites and passing through villages. And seeing the Roman aqueduct was definitely my highlight! June was very thoughtful and constantly was making sure that we are well taken care of. Despite some hick ups at the start of the trip due to the city traffic being blocked for the marathon, she was very hands on and sorted out all the situations. You can really tell she cares. At the end she even made us a Christmas present which was a very nice touch.. June’s been on on many hikes already (30+), thus plenty of offer for us and we will be returning. And bonus: she has 2 lovely cats!
