Stop At: Amsterdam Canal Ring, Amsterdam The Netherlands

First we’ll visit the old quarter of the Jordaan. See highlights like the Westertoren and the Anne Frank house, taste the original Amsterdam ‘bitterballen’. We’ll navigate via the river Amstel to the Red Light District. See the fabulous storehouses en then visit the hidden side of the city. Cruise past the National Maritime Museum and admire the East Indiaman ship dating from the Golden Age and enjoy the exotic Hortus Botanicus.

    Our captain was very patient, knowledgeable and fun with a great sense of humor. We were late to the boat but he reached out to confirm our arrival and waited the extra 7 minutes! The treats on board were very tasty too!

    "Storm", our captain, took us all over the Amsterdam canals. He was very knowledgable of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. In April our boat was covered because it was still cold and there is always the chance of rain. we had an afternoon cruise so the weather was a little warmer. He had snacks and a variety of beverages and he gave us Bitterballen which I thought was good.

    Erik was a fantastic host. Cruise was 2 hr ! Very prompt. He talked the whole time… of which most was true( as his business card says)! Nice treats on the boat …unlimited wine, beer and drinks. Highly recommend!
