This is a family-run business that sells herring and other fish and seafood specialties, and we'll stop here to try some of their local specialties. The stand has been in operation since 1987 and is still run today by the original owner, Jan Jonk, and his son, Jack. They are known for their high-quality herring and traditional preparation methods. The herring is sourced from the North Sea and is carefully cleaned and filleted on-site by the Jonk family.
