The windmill village of Zaanse Schans is where past tradition is still alive. The Dutch countryside is by many described as the scenery of a fairy tale, akin you will experience Zaanse Schans. Green meadows with grazing cows, calm streams and the subtle sound of turning windmills.

Wandering the romantic town of Volendam is like finding yourself in the middle of a folkloric film. Nicknamed ‘The Pearl of the Zuiderzee’, this fisherman village was founded all the way back in the 14th century.

What a extremely well executed trip by Dutch Tours and Transfers. Everything worked like clockwork - from the timeous pick-up all the way through to the drop-off . Our guide, Elias, was an absolute wonder. He was super-friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. After the breathtaking Keukenhof tour, which we could do at our leisure, he took us on the roads less travelled to working farms, where we could get up close and personal with the stunning tulips. Afterwards we were whisked away for lunch at Noordwijk beach. Such a very special day with a very special guide and chauffeur. He even found the time to sort out our travel plans from Amsterdam to Ghent. He is an absolute treasure and I cannot recommend him and Dutch travels strongly enough.

Elias was a wonderful tour guide. His car is spacious, comfortable and spotless. With a private tour we were able to take our time at each site, without being crowded by a tour. Elias shared lots of fun facts about the landscape, residents and history of the sites. He also showed us the best spots to take photos as a family. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

We loved our private tour in Holland- our guide Elias was great. The itinerary was perfect for a day out exploring the countryside and we got to see some beautiful tulip fields. The itinerary is somewhat customizable, but we enjoyed everything that had been planned-good variety of activities and sights. The van was comfortable, and amenities were provided such as water bottles and umbrellas- which were needed and much appreciated on a rainy day! Elias was friendly, knowledgeable, told us some interesting stories and facts. Would highly recommend!

Elias was an awesome host! He was punctual and very helpful. He is very knowledgeable of the Amsterdam area and gave us dinner suggestions for after the tour! He joined us on most of the activities and took photos of us and knew the best routes to take at each stopping point.
