Overview

Australia Zoo is home of the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin. Nestled on 140 acres and with over 1,200 native and exotic animals, it's the most interactive wildlife adventure and conservation destination!

Check out giraffes, rhinos, zebras, meerkats and cheetahs at the African Savannah, and majestic tigers, red pandas and Sumatran elephants in South-East Asia, and so much more!

Watch the world-famous Wildlife Warriors show, with all the jaw-snapping action of crocodiles and swooping birds LIVE in the Crocoseum, where you learn about vital conservation efforts.

Cool off at The Laughing Frog Water Park, a splash play area open to all guests with spectacular wildlife sculptures! Explore the world's busiest Wildlife Hospital, where you can watch vets saving endangered Australian animals.

In line with Viator's animal welfare policy, our product does not include physical contact with animals except under the supervision of zoo officials, where animals can disengage from contact at will.

Ensure you check your pick-up time and place for the tour date, and be at the meeting point on time. For the sake of other customers, we cannot wait for late arrivals.

Due to recent construction in the CBD area, the bus may be delayed. We seek your understanding and patience, and our driver will ensure that all the customers waiting are picked up.

Occasionally, due to the traffic, the driver is unable to stop directly outside the hotel entrance but will stop as close as possible and make sure to collect the customers.

AUSTRALIA ZOO TICKETS:
Our driver will check everyone in at the zoo with his passenger manifest, so you do not need to print your voucher.

• Please note that our bus does not have a toilet on board.
• The bus starts at the Gold Coast and travels north to the Brisbane CBD.
• It depends on that day’s bookings what time we arrive at the zoo, but we must leave the zoo by 4 p.m. due to evening traffic, so the driver may ask you to meet BEFORE 4 p.m.

NOTE: The bus stops at Tangalooma Wharf before heading to the zoo (return journey as well).

Well worth a visit, great day out. We did the meerkat experience, would highly recommend it. Loads of animals we don’t see in the UK. Be careful not to but too muck kangaroo food, they know when they’ve had enough

I got to where I was going. Nothing memorable about the trip. Driver spoke bad English and picked us up half way down the block. Was lucky I noticed him sitting way down there or would have missed the trip.

We had a great time visiting the zoo. it is nice to be able to have the interaction with the animals. Been to many zoos across the world. Generally you do not get to interact with animals or have a freeing zoo experience because there are so many rules that come along with animals. This was a very well designed atmosphere. I recommend starting at "Africa" side when you first arrive. Go to the left and take the shuttle. It made sense to us as that was the first show to see with the tigers and then we were able to walk and hit every show and not miss any animal exhibits.

Standard zoo but crocodile focused. Many animal types like lions, gorillas missing. Found the keeper talks short and busy (had to stand outside the tiger talk due to popularity). Only long talk was Koalas. There's one crocodile show a day and three quarters of it is birds. Not impressive - a single crocodile gets fed about 4 fish in various different ways and there weren't any Urwin's in sight. Smaller grounds than expected. Ran out of things to do an hour before the bus was due to return. Bus has no facilities but set off and left on time delivering and picking up right from the front entrance (90 mins getting there, about 70 mins getting back).
