You'll be guided all over the northern tracks and beaches of the island, learning about some of the incredible history and aboriginal culture of the island while spotting plenty of wildlife along the way. Dave will find the perfect beach or lake side oasis to set up the BBQ and cook up an Aussie feast to enjoy while you soak in the beautiful sights and sounds of this natural paradise. Weather permitting you'll have an opportunity for a beach or freshwater lake swim.

Stop At: North Stradbroke Island, North Stradbroke Island, Redland City, Brisbane Region, Queensland
Arriving at the island airport, you'll disembark to meet your 4WD Ecotour guide, aussie local legend 'Barefoot Dave'. The first stop via 4WD will be on the banks of the beautiful Brown Lake, a postcard perfect Ti Tree oil lake ideal for a morning tea break, enjoy hot tea and fresh home made aussie damper with jam, to settle into island time.

Stop At: Gold Coast, Gold Coast, Queensland
Your Island adventure begins from the Gold Coasts International airport. Escape the city and enjoy an exclusive 30min scenic flight along the golden beaches of Surfers Paradise, past the beach front city skyline, then across the beautiful turquoise waters of Morton bay marine park, spotting all the local marine life even humpback whales between (Jun to Nov) en-route to the island oasis that is North Stradbroke (Minjerribah).

Stop At: North Gorge Walk, Midjimberry Road, Point Lookout, Redland City, North Stradbroke Island, Queensland Australia
After lunch you'll make your way to the stunning North Gorge at Point
Lookout to walk around the cliff top boardwalk. This is Queensland's most Easterly point, so you'll have a good chance of spotting humpback whales (early June to late Nov), dolphins, turtles, manta rays, sharks & schools of large fish. The cliff top walk conveniently ends just outsides Dave's favourite
Gelato shop, just in time for an afternoon treat to enjoy while sitting on the cliff top over looking the pristine turquoise water below.

Stop At: Amity Point Beach, Claytons Road Amity Point, Redland City, North Stradbroke Island, Queensland 4183 Australia
Last stop on your 4WD EcoTour is on the north western tip of the island, to visit the little fishing village of Amity Point. Here you'll likely spot koalas (hopefully with baby) and walk along the Amity point jetty where the local bottle nose dolphins frequent for a fisher mans leftovers.
From Amity Point, you'll head back to the island airport for your return sunset flight back to the Gold Coast.

An unforgettable end to a day of spectacular sights, you'll hop aboard your aircraft at the island airport to fly home towards the sun kissed beaches of the Gold Coast. Fly past the beach front city skyline, at eye level with the high rises of Surfers Paradise to return for a landing at the Gold Coast Airport.
