The host, Veronica, was aggressive and seemed bothered to be hosting us. Her personality really destroyed the experience, especially when compared to other tours/experiences I’ve booked. The food was “okay” at best and it wasn’t a fun time at all. I recommend booking another class. She didn’t have an updated guest list and made it seem like our fault - for myself as a solo traveler and another couple who also wasn’t on the list.
We met people from around the globe as we drank wine and prepared our dinner & dessert. The instructors were great and lots of fun! The food was amazing and they even gave us the recipes at the end of the evening. We’re now looking for a similar class for our next trip.
We were a family of 5 including seniors and kids less than 14. Each one of us thoroughly enjoyed and had a lot of fun. The chefs the very patient with our kids. These are one of the few memories that we are taking back home 💕💕
Overall the class was fun. Pleasant instructor, great venue!! However I have two suggestions that would improve the experience. 1. Reduce class size to max of 10 The instructor was pleasant and helpful but the group was too big for her to manage. Many of us could have used help so was frustrating at times. 2. increase number of communal ingredients. There were only two shared bowls for 16 people. We were continually waiting on others before the ingredient was sent down. This was also frustrating.
This was the highlight of our trip to Florence! Naghess was the BEST instructor - so funny and passionate about our class. And our resulting pasta and tiramisu was delicious! Don’t miss out on this class!
