The Accademia and its art were everything we hoped for, made easy by Italy Pass. We hadn’t the foresight to book ahead and found tickets sold out on our preferred dates on the official on line ticketing service. Italy Pass (through TripAdvisor) gave us tickets on the right date, though the premium was significant. They made our visit possible, but, even better, when we mistakenly showed up 5 hours early (conflated entry times with another booking), they actually were able to get us in right then, saving our day’s schedule and allowing extra time to take in the art.

Our tour guide was fantastic. A 75 yr old Italian with excellent English and equally impressive knowledge of cultural arts and history. He kept the tour interesting, engaging and professional. He took us through the highlights which was just enough for our teens.

Just did the tickets as we could not get them online from the museum. Representative was in exactly the spot described, got tickets easily. Yes, you will have to still wait in the line for those with tickets (there is no true skip the line), but it only took about 15 minutes to get in. If you can’t get the same tickets directly from the museum this is a great way to go!!!

A must on any visit to Florence. Many Museums but the David Statud is magnificent. So many paintings depicting the life of Christ. A special,place for sure.
