Discover the local neighborhood of Sant'Ambrogio. Here you will feel like you are a part of the local community as we stop and have tastings at local and family-owned shops.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, Via della Canonica, 1 Piazza del Duomo, 50122, Florence Italy

We continue on with our tastings we will pass through the city center strolling along it's cobble stoned streets getting glimpses of the magnificent Duomo along the way.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Basilica di San Lorenzo, Piazza di San Lorenzo 9, 50123, Florence Italy

See the famous church of the Medici family as we pass by on our way to our tastings. We will have a few different tastings at local shops near the Church of San Lorenzo.

We loved that we got to explore a local neighborhood outside of the craziness of the city center. On this tour we got to see what it is like for locals, where they do their shopping, have their coffee, and enjoy the day to day! Each tasting was wonderful and you can tell that it was well thought out so that we could try many different local specialties! Thank you for a wonderful tour!

This tour was the perfect amount of culture, history, and great food! We loved rubbing elbows with the other locals while enjoying the products that they are clearly so passionate about!

We loved this tour! We didn’t want to leave the fresh market. It was so great to walk around and dream about tasting everything there! We ended up going back to a couple of the shops where we stopped the next day!

Christy was so knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic tour which allowed us to sample some delicious produce and also find out more about the city. We weren’t sure what to expect but we had plenty to eat, definitely no lunch needed! We travelled as a family with daughters aged 21 and 19. Christy had a great rapport with the owners of all the eateries we visited and even arranged a happy birthday rendition en route. Worth doing the tour earlier on in your stay as you will be sure to want to return to the places she introduces. Thank you Christy!
