The experience itself was great. Unfortunately the person representing La Vacanza Travel gave us 2 tickets that had already been used. So 2 out of the 4 tickets we had worked. Luckily the guard at both the bell tower and duomo were kind and let us in. The guard at the baptistery turned us away.

We were never able to do tour due to a delay in previous tour. No refunds unfortunately. Very rainy day, so really made for a hard day for touring.

The ticket was ideal for saving time in line waiting to buy them direct and gave us access to several other areas in the church and museum. We had also been told the tickets were sold out for the Bell Tower until the next week, but we were able to find them here. Make sure to read what it gets you access to in order to understand the buildings and areas. It is a little confusing but there are signs on all the doors.

We booked our tickets through La Vacanza Travel to gain access to the bell tower and cathedral. There was no guide, we just met up with the tour person who gave us our tickets for entry. We were fine with this, as we have been to these historical places before. This was a last minute decision and very easy to obtain tickets for timed queues.

We were so glad we did Skip the line tickets and would recommend doing it later in the day to see the sunset. Beautiful view from the Bell Tower. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, light weight clothing and bring a bottle of water for the 414 stairs to climb.
