    We booked our tickets from Kandy to Ella online, and they were delivered to our hotel that morning as promised. No problems with anything. A small improvement would have been to explain why we got 4 tickets when we booked 3, as I had a moment of panic that we had been given the wrong tickets! Mahaweli responded immediately by WhatsApp to explain though, so that was good.

    Great trip - the tickets were dropped off to our hotel the evening before we travelled. We were a little confused about what time the train was / what carriage & class our seats were in but were able to easily contact Geesara on whats app who confirmed it all for us. Really enjoyed the train ride, seats were great, the carriage was only reserved seating so wasnt crowded or stressful. Would recommend this trip.

    I highly recommend Mahaweli tours. Was allocated a seat in the 1st class airconditioned section and really enjoyed the ride. Tickets were delivered at the last minute which stressed me out a little bit but they assured me that the ticket will be there on time. And actually it arrived on time 🙂
