We took this tour from Railay Beach on 2/17/22. Let’s just say it was a real rough go. Seas were super choppy to the point where people were getting sea sick and people riding in the front of the boat had to holding on for dear life. I had to move to the back because holding on to the rail with one arm and the area underneath to hold me in place was too much (and I’m strong). It was actually scary. We saw some beautiful areas. Monkey Island was a huge disappointment. They wouldn’t even let us off the boat as too many other boats were there. The Viking Cave was also disappointing - the best you can do is float by. You can’t get close enough to see the cave paintings. If you’re going to do this tour, best to sign up for the early morning tour. This was full so we had no choice.

Pros: the guides were fantastic and the islands stunning Cons: uncomfortable transportation, really noisy overcrowded beaches (personally I think they let too many tourist on at once and need some kind of restriction) and felt like you were on a conveyor belt going from one island to the next. Lunch was all you can eat halal buffet (so no alcohol) and was distinctly average food. I felt the speedboat was a little overcrowded yet they said normally they have another 10 on!

This trip really wasnt great. There was so many people. They took us to a stop to swim where there were so many boats with their engine running. There was trash in the water and we were breathing fumes. It was really gross. The next stop they took us for snorkeling had boats coming in and out and it was really dangerous. Lunch was not edible. I mean… really really bad. The food was so gross we ate somewhere else. Not the tour operators fault but Maya beach was Disneyland. Every 1 second a guard was blowing their whistle because someone went in the water more than an inch. It was not peaceful at all. The best stop was the last stop where there was maybe only 15 boats and not 50. The tour guide was friendly and helpful.

It was a very fun trip with new experiences with an amazing guid loved the drinks and the tour, would definitely recommend to more family and friends!
