This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Wadi Bani Khalid, Wadi Bani Khalid, Ash-Sharqiyah Governorate

We will depart Muscat at early morning then we will continue to Wadi Bani Khalid from there we will have easy walk to reach the water pools and you can have a swim with clear and crystal water. Then after that we will continue to wahiba Sands Desert.

SWIMWEAR CODE: For ladies they must wear t shirt and short under the knees.

Stop At: Wahiba Sands, Wahiba Sands, Ash-Sharqiyah Governorate

After Wadi Bani Khalid we will go to Wahiba sands desert from there you can visit the Bedouin Family, drink coffee with them and you can ride a camel then watch the sunset. Then after that back to Muscat.

We had a full-day tour to Wahiba Sand Desert to see the dunes and the sunset. Our guide Amer picked us up from the hotel and he was the star of our tour. He told us about the omani history and culture. He was very knowledgeable, kind and masterful driver in the intense Oman traffic. The Wahiba Sands desert was simply an amazing experience. Amer took us to a private spot where we had superb views at the western horizon as the sun set in the rose-gold desert. After the sunset we had a dinner together. We skipped the camel ride (and should have skipped the visit to ”bedouin village” which was as authentic as the snow at the Mall of Oman). However, our reaction was well-read by Amer who swiftly took us to enjoy the desert views and sunset. Our recommendation is to go directly to the desert - and skip the camel ride and the bedouin village - and enjoy the desert for as long as possible. The silence, gentle desert winds and beautiful sunset are all worth it. Special thanks to Amer for being an excellent guide - and Sunshine Tours/Star Tours Oman.

Did this tour with Muneer. As a tip, make sure you have WhatsApp so you can communicate easily with your tour guide. The tour pick up time was 11:30am. Muneer arrived early at our hotel to pick us up but since I didn’t have WhatsApp I didn’t see his initial message. He took us to the first destination, Wadi Bani Khalid. He was very flexible in accommodating eating times and bathroom breaks and didn’t rush us. We opted not to swim in the wadi since we did water activities the past 2 days so we spent less time there and more time eating lunch since we were hungry. We arrived at Wahiba Sands around 4:30pm and we had dates and Arabic coffee in a Bedouin house. We also did a short camel ride (bring cash). The highlight of the tour was exploring the nearby sand dunes. Even though we rented a 4WD and had the right car to go into the desert, having a tour guide or local here was invaluable, as he brought us to a place to take great pictures at sunset, and you can easily get stuck in a the sand dunes if you don’t know where to drive. Muneer explained a lot about the culture and location and took great pictures of us. It was such a surreal experience and the desert was so otherworldly looking. We finished at after the sunset and Muneer brought us back to our hotel; we arrived around 8:45pm. I highly recommend this tour.

Very nice day tour with a good english speaking guide! Got to talk about everything and had good knowledge about the main events in the trip. Had no hurry and formed the trip for us as we liked. The sunset camel riding was a experience that we will remember for a long time! Perfect weather and beutiful sunset. Would highly recommend!

The views were simply stunning, way better than what you can expect looking at pictures. Hamood was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, and basically gave me a history class about Oman. I would recommend this tour 100%!

Our tour was well organized we had started our day trip with our friendly and informative tour guide. We enjoyed the full day tour visiting wadi bani khalid and wahiba sands desert,visited the bedouin family and to ride a camel. Highly recommend.
