The tour guide and chauffeur were ok but could have been way more helpful if customer oriented steps were taken. For example; the guides for 3 tours showed up at the meeting point where a group of customers were waiting but only 1 guide had a sign indicating which tour it was. Customers didn’t know which was the tour guide for the trip until their name was read. It would have been easier for customers to know which tour the guide/bus was the one to go to, then wait for the name to be called before boarding the bus. My name was not read until the very end but the other 2 buses had already left which made me wonder if I had not heard my name called or it was mispronounced. A simple sign with the name of the tour would have helped a lot. Once on the bus, the tour guide didn’t explain the itinerary for the day until practically at the first stop - we were making 3 visits to 3 cities. Knowing the itinerary earlier also helps. The stop for lunch at a restaurant was very disappointing; the food was ok but the service was careless. The wait staff came around dropping food on our plates, sometimes (several) the food landing on peoples lap or off the plate, olive oil dripping off the tray on tables and clothes. Unfortunately not a pleasant experience. Last but not least, and this is not critical of the organizers or guide, the roads to the Amalfi coast are beautiful, treacherous, and very narrow! Large tour buses have a hard time navigating them which results in horrendous traffic congestions - I’m talking 30 to 45+ minutes sitting in traffic while 2 buses figure out how to get around a super narrow hairpin curve with a precipice on one side. Be prepared to spend as much time sitting (or more) than visiting the towns. Last, unfortunately the towns are so full of tourist and shops selling trinkets that it’s almost a disneyland kind of atmosphere. Hope I didn’t burst anybody’s bubble.

It was a 12 hour day and we only got out of the bus for 4 hours. Traffic took up the rest of the day. Our guide was good but could have given more information on the area, culture, geography, etc. . The driver tailgated and very jerky driver. I was nauseous. He was good through the narrow streets. The van music was loud and the driver/ guide talked among themselves more than us. It was 12 hours!! The lunch was lovely and a beautiful location.

Mr. duo Antonio (guide) and Antonio (driver in a crisp white shirt) worked hard to look after the group, they are professional and were super kind to my bambino. Traffic and crowds were unavoidable given the popularity with tourists but it’s a beautiful coastal trip with amazing vista. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Georgio was our tour guide and he was world class and a lot of fun. Luigi was our driver and could not be better. Thank you World Tours. The professional guide provided by the Pompeii site was difficult to understand and not very enthusiastic.
