Dani (Widarni) was a wonderful guide to the world of Hawker food. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, funny,
Dani made the tour a fun and informative treat. She answered all our questions, whether about food or history or modern Singapore. At the end she showed us how to use the subway.

We had a great few hours wandering through Chinatown. Colin filled our bellies with delicious food and our heads with local knowledge. We tried local cuisine that we wouldn't have tried on our own. Thank you Colin!

This tour was amazing! Not only did we get to eat the cheapest Michelin Star dish in the world (which was delicious) but we also got to try other local food dishes in different hawker centres that we would not have found ourselves. We then used the knowledge gained on this tour to eat for the rest of our 12 day stay in Singapore. Our guide Dani was also awesome. Very highly recommended! Thank you.

We were led on a great tour through Chinatown by our very capable guide Yap. We began with an education regarding Singaporean coffee and how to order the various varieties. As we enjoyed our coffees, we were also treated to Kaya toast and pan dan sponge cake. We continued on our tour through China Town learning about the history and wandering through the market place as well. We had Michelin Star Chicken and Rice and numerous other "bites" as we worked our way along. Our final treat was a unique ice cream sandwich made with a slice of cake folded around a slice of ice cream. Yap then walked us to the subway and educated each of us how to take the appropriate subway to our specific hotels. So, we even got to sample the Singapore's wonderful subway system!!!
