Excellent driver. I gained a good sense of the history of Singapore. My driver was great with explaining each of our stops. This is an excellent way to experience Singapore on a stopover to and from the airport.

This is an over-priced car hire and not a tour. The description says we'd receive commentary and information about the sights for 5 locations, and it failed to deliver. In 4 hours, we only reached to 2 locations due to the driver choosing high-traffic routes. The company said we had to pay an extra $45 per hour if we wanted to complete the itinerary. Our driver, ST, was late for pick-up due to road closures for Thaipusan festival – this was fine, nobody's fault. We walked to the nearest street he could reach and started the tour. No offers were made to compensate for the time lost due to ST's lateness. En route between locations, ST announced he wanted to show us Orchard Rd which was not on the itinerary – however, this put us in another traffic jam caused by the festival closure! We ended up stuck in traffic for over an hour due to ST's decision. I felt he should have been more aware of the traffic after his earlier delay. Not impressed and would not recommend. You're better off taking a taxi or the MRT!

Seeing the various and different sections of the city was unexpected and extremely informative. On a dry day it would have been good to get out of the car and look carefully at the various temples.

The four of us booked ‘ Singapore: 4 Hours - Private Car or Minibus Rental with Driver’ on December 17th via La Vacanza Travel with the expectations as described in the tour - such as ‘ informative commentary, sharing interesting facts and stories about the landmarks as you drive by. They can also provide valuable recommendations and insights, helping you make the most of your time in Singapore.’ Ironically, this driver didn’t deliver as expected. He barely talked, offered no tips about each location. First off, he didn’t follow the tour itinerary. He wanted to take us to the mall (electric/tech products). He offered no bottled water. I asked and he said he would buy but there was no water for the tour. He was basically just a driver who dropped us off at each location (discussed and agreed upon); we then texted him when it was time to pick us up. The tour was not pleasant with a lazy driver. We managed and had to insist the driver to take us to visit landmarks that we set out to go (according to the tour description) within 4 hours as contracted. Singapore is a beautiful place but this driver spoiled the spirit. La Vacanza Travel has to do better in selecting drivers to delivery as promised.
