Overview

Explore three famous islands of the Venetian Lagoon – Murano, Torcello and Burano – on a half-day sightseeing excursion by motorboat. Accompanied by a local guide, you'll stop at a glass-blowing factory on Murano, visit Venice's first cathedral on the tranquil island of Torcello and shop for handcrafted lace on Burano. This morning or afternoon tour is a great introduction to the magical islands around the medieval city of Venice and its enclosed bay in the Adriatic Sea.

We really enjoyed this experience.
Murano was our first stop where we watched a glass blowing demonstration (how that man made that horse is beyond me!). We only had a further 15 mins to explore, but that was enough really.
Torcello was our next stop where we chose to climb the tower for views of the lagoon - really fab; would recommend it. No time to do the Church too which was a shame. I guess you have to choose one over the other.
We arrived at Burano just as the sun was setting - it was so pretty wandering around at this time of day.
We felt that this trip was very good value for money and would thoroughly recommend it.
I would also suggest getting to the ticket office early so that you can get a good place in the queue to facilitate getting good seats on the boat.

A wonderful tour, The glass blowing was fascinating and the colorful houses and canals were enchanting. You also get a good view of Venice from the ferry ride over. Well worth it.

The experience was a wonderful part of our trip. So glad we decided to do this. The islands were beautiful and we even learned a little. Would go again if given the opportunity.

Burano. We found a green-grocer and ate grapes as walked in the quiet tourist free streets and lanes.

Colourful fishing village of Burano as you enter port

We bought a lovely lacy table cloth something that we have been looking for many years. Not too many fancy stitch-work but just right for our taste. Many places to photograph and many shops and trattorias.
