Joseph was very helpful to us! Thanks It was a good decission to book the tour. All went according to a plan. We will do it again definitely
Chiara (sorry if spelt wrong!) was fantastic! She took her time to explain everything and ensured my Mom with mobility issues had rest breaks and didn’t move on without us. Throughly enjoyed the informative tour!
Great tour! Very informative. Luckily we were having a drink on the side and 2 spaces became available! We hadn’t booked anything, but lucked out. Thanks Chiara, great English speaking tour guide.
I'm sure if you get a real tour, that it is amazing - but this was not our experience. They moved our tour up a day, so we scrambled to get there in time from the train station. En route to the meeting point, I got 3 calls from them, one confirming our tour, one actually calling to say we had inadvertently been rebooked on a Spanish tour and would we like to come back the next day after all?, and a third saying never mind, we need to come today and that it will "all be fine." We arrived and were ushered into the premises and told to pay ourselves for a self-guided audio tour, and that we'd be refunded the difference. All we got back was 80 euros, or about 1/7 of the full price. From what I can tell, any skip the line pass to what we got runs anywhere from 40 to 100 euros per person, so we should've gotten back way more. Granted it was Easter weekend, but all in all, we had just 75 minutes to see all the museums and Sistene Chapel on our own, which is a far cry from what we should've been able to see had they rebooked us correctly.
The tour was really well and the guide explained everything so well that when we got to Sistine chapel it was nice to recognize the paintings. The tour started a little late and looking for the meeting point was not very straightforward.
