The Forbidden City was built in 1406, which use to be Chinese Imperial Palace in Ming and Qing Dynasty. With over 180 acres and collection of great halls, you will see antiques and treasures representing all of China's history.

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China

Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven was where emperors went to worship heaven for good harvests. It is Chinas largest temple and altar complex, an extraordinary example of religious architecture dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasty.

Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), No.19 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100080 China

Summer Palace was built in 1750 during Qing Dynasty. It is the largest royal park and being well preserved. You will explore the grounds, the temples and the worlds longest art gallery.

Tom is in the wrong business. He was disrespectful and rude. He did not offer any information. He acted annoyed anytime someone on the tour asked him questions like how long it took from the restaurant to the Summer Palace. When you asked questions he thought he already told you, he got angry and he let you know. How he has survived being a tour guide this long and why this tour operator has kept him around is beyond me. He was coughing the entire tour making us nervous about getting sick from whatever he had. We had to wait for the minivan to pick us up at least 20 minutes at every stop reflecting poor coordination between Tom and the driver. At the end of the tour, we were faced with repeated coerced tipping. If you book a tour with this company and find out Tom will be your tour guide, cancel it.

This tour is for you if you need to see it all in one day. I would have liked to spend more time at the Forbidden City; 1 hour is not doing it justice. It might have been nice to split the areas between two days. Tom, our guide, was not the friendliest guide I have ever had, but he did get the information across and got us from place to place. Lunch was mediocre. They take you to the Pearl Market, which is not listed on the itinerary.

I am impressed on how expansive and huge the Tiananmen Square . The tour package ls great . It covered 4 Beijing highlights. Tom , the guide is awesome and well versed . We learned a lot ! The driver is respectful and on time ! We recommend this tour !!!

Michael our tour guide was very pleasant and informative. The minivan that transported us from venue to venue was very good. Access to all locations was seamless and credit to the tour agency for getting tickets to the forbidden city with 24 hours notice. It is alot to cover in one day so do separate tours if you want more time in the forbidden city.

I think with this tour you get to see the most important spots in one day (besides the great wall, that you need to do in one more day) The guide was really nice and the experience was really good, the food tasty. The only thing I would say is that we needed to pay for the tickets to entry the forbbien city, and I thought they where included, in the end they gave it back. Still something I would not have been able to do alone since you need special stuff to book for the forbbiden city
