Our guide Sherry met us right on time at our hotel as scheduled. Although this was described as a mini group tour, my partner and I were the only two that booked, so we had a private tour from Sherry. We found Sherry to be very knowledgeable about the Ming Tombs and Summer Palace. She provided us with very interesting information about both places throughout the day. Both places offer beautiful locations and architecture. Our guide also took us to a great local restaurant for lunch, and she chose several authentic Chinese dishes for a delicious and plentiful lunch. On a personal note, Sherry was so incredibly warm and friendly to us, and made the day a special experience for us. We mentioned that we were traveling in Beijing for my birthday. A few days later, Sherry came back to our hotel to drop off a few small birthday presents for me. She was so incredibly thoughtful and really made our tour with her very memorable. We highly recommend her as a guide, and this tour for anyone traveling to Beijing.
