Near here, admire the Reichstag parliament building, opened in 1894, with its famous glass dome designed by British architect Norman Foster. My husband is a WWII buff and said we didn’t need a tour. I booked it anyway. BEST DECISION EVER!!! I’m not sure if it was the tour itself or the guide. I think it was how the two worked symbiotically was the key. Nickoli, our guide, was nothing short of amazing. He blended the politics and history of each part of the tour with sensitivity and passion. All we kept thinking the next day was we wished we had him as a private guide all over this fantastic city. For reference, we had our kids of 9 and 18 with us.

Barnaby took us on an excellent walking tour of Berlin. He was very knowledgeable about the architecture and history of the various areas of Berlin. He kept everyone entertained and even managed to catch the teenagers attention. The one negative that I had was with the tour company procedure of meeting up. There was no signage, just a lot of people milling about. It took a lot of asking the wrong people to get directed to the right person to check in with and be put into the correct grouping.

Great! Brian was our tour guide and he had a ton of information and presented it in a light, fun manner.

We walked around East Berlin and saw all the major sites besides Reichstag, but our tour ended nearby, so we walked over after.

I would highly recommend!

I recommend this tour to everybody who visits Berlin for the 1st (or even 2nd or 3rd time). We had wonderful 4 hours exploring interesting places and hearing fascinating stories about the history, people, everyday life, etc. Our guide Mike was excellent, it was a pleasure to have a tour with him. He also added some personal things to this tour, such as sharing his own experience or jokes. The tour lasted 4 hours, but we had a break in between, and although it was +32 degrees outside, our guide always took care of every guest by offering a sunscreen, or making the stops in the shade. Thank you! When I go to Berlin again, I will definitely book another tour with you!
