Well, this was absolutely one of the most amazing tours that we have ever had! As a rabbi, Ed's knowledge and perspective was impressive. Rather that detail the places that we wanted to see, we have him our priorities, and asked him to create the itinerary. And he did not disappoint! We hit every single significant place that we wanted to visit! If you get the chance, book this tour with Ed! You will be thank him when the day is finished.
If you are looking for a very friendly, highly educated, very flexible, extremely well informed private guide, Ed Snitkoff is the guide for you. I even called him later for advice about other things Israeli. He was very kind and helpful. We had some mobility issues to deal with this visit, and he was absolutely great about it. We really could not be happier about our choice in guide. I personally prefer the flexibility of a private guide over the group tours. When I’m hungry, I want food, and I may want to stay more or less time at any given site...and we can personalize our agenda. Personally, it is very important to me to have a guide who is highly educated and experienced in the subject matter. Ed is that and more. Friendly. Approachable. Knowledgeable. Flexible. We feel truly fortunate. Thank you Ed.
We were very fortunate to have Ed Snitkoff as our guide for a one-of-a-kind experience in the old city of Jerusalem. Ed spoke to us before-hand to understand our interests and backgrounds. He is incredibly skilled at making information both fun for kids and interesting for adults. As a rabbi and consummate educator, Ed has a special ability to make the history of Jerusalem come alive for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our tour was spiritually uplifting, fun and packed with fascinating stories. My kids say: "He was really friendly and made it so interesting for us without babying us. We loved it". I highly recommend you book a tour with Ed!
