You will visit the Vatican Museums, overflowing with masterpieces by many of the world's most important Renaissance and Baroque artists, as well as works from ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt. Here, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel sits alongside works by Botticelli, Perugino and Bernini. You will exit directly into St. Peter's Basilica, the world's ancient Christian Church.

Day 4: Florence: Artisans walking tour + Uffizi and Accademia Galleries

09:00 am - As a matter of fact, Florence has a long and rich tradition of craftsmanship. During our Artisan Tour you will meet some of the best local craftsmen in Florence, Italy. We will take you to an area, on the left bank of the Arno river, called Oltrarno (which literally means beyond the Arno). This district welcomes some of the most experienced artisans of the country. In our walking tour to the Oltrarno district, we will visit the studios of real Florentine artisans who have been in business for generations. You will watch them crafting with leather, jewelry, paper, ceramics, and more, and listen to their meaningful stories.
