We had a fantastic time learning how to cook lots of different Sri Lankan curries and dishes! Sajee and his wife were very kind and knowledgeable and we learnt more about cooking at this class than any other class we have done. I would highly recommend. Plus the food at the end was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka
My wife and I heard about this cooking course through our tour guide. Through the cooking course we were able to learn how to really eat Sri Lankan food. What a nice experience! From start to finish, a friendly gentleman and lady will show you how the different types of curries can be prepared. This is done by following the steps step by step. Ultimately you do it yourself and there is no better way to learn. Only after this course will you know how to cook real Sri Lankan food. If you stick to how your home country describes the recipes, you will never know how the curries are prepared in a truly Sri Lankan way. After the cooking class you will also receive a number of recipes for reference. Ideal! It was more than worth the money. That's why I advise everyone to try this course. Highly recommended!
A great authentic cooking experience. We made a large variety of food of which were all the curries we had been eating around the island. Lots of recipes were provided very quickly after the class that we will repeat for sure when we return home.
We had an amazing time at the cooking class! We had such a wonderful time learning how to cook all the Sri Lankan dishes and an even better time eating them at the end!! The food we cooked was absolutely incredible. and being able to take the recipe and recreate them at home is great!! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking to learn and have an amazing experience!!
We booked this cooking class as part of our honeymoon and loved every minute of it! Being able to experience Sri Lankan cooking and hear all about the fresh ingredients and family stories of where equipment came from was a special part of our trip! Sajee and his wife Susie were extremely patient and lovely whilst we got to grips with learning new skills! The skills we learnt we now get to use at home and that is also thanks to Sajee sending over all recipes after the class! This really was the highlight of our honeymoon and we recommend to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!
