Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and Cultural Village
Magnificent would probably be an understatement for the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and Cultural Village. Originally bought by its owners Pisit and Nongnooch Tansacha to be converted into a fruit plantation, this botanical garden has been planted with flowers and plants instead to make it into a wild conservation project.
This vast landscaped park is divided into themed gardens, which makes walking through the botanical park feel like visiting different countries around the world.
One of the most popular areas for tourists is the French garden, which resembles the gardens of Versailles and the 1.1-kilometer elevated walkway called the skywalk, which leads to the topiary garden.
The Nong Nooch Tropical Garden has more than 670 species of orchids and some of the most unique plant species in the world. It has areas dedicated to specific plants like cactus and succulents, orchids and bonsai.
The garden also has a cultural center where you can see shows featuring the culture of Thailand, two restaurants, a mini zoo, a hotel, and Thai-style rental houses if you want to spend the night in this beautifully landscaped park.
You can also witness several religious ceremonies and a martial arts demonstration or get a Thai massage if exploring the park left you exhausted.
