Step inside Sweeney Todd’s infamous barber shop on Fleet Street and let him give your life a short back and sides. Then tread cautiously through the streets of Whitechapel, as Jack the Ripper could be lurking just around the corner… You probably think you’ll be safe after that but there’s also the small matter of the Plague, a vengeful Henry VIII and his Executioner and the Torturer who would really like you to talk.

Then, you’ll be sentenced for your crimes (guilty of course) and sent to Newgate Prison to hang, on Drop Dead: Drop Ride.

On the off chance you survive all of that, you’ll round off your journey with a visit to the Dungeon Tavern; hear the latest gossip with the locals!

The London Dungeon is well worth a visit we had advanced tickets. Very informative and very well done the people dressed up and play there parts well.

80% of the attraction is very good with the actors doing their best to involve and interact with the group whilst delivering their scenes. If you're shy and unwilling to get involved then this probably isn't the attraction for you, but if you're up for a laugh then it's good. The only downside to our visit was whilst waiting at the end of the tour for the ride on the drop attraction. An "actor" who was clearly not having a good day or enjoying his job called the group "losers" after nobody replied when he asked rhetorically "who knows the rules?". The group exchanged bemused glances with each other before he called us all "losers" again before being met with another wall of silence. Although in costume, he didn't appear to be in character, and he came across as a scorned disinterested employee rather than an actor engaging with the group. I'm not aware of the term Loser being used in that way in the 19th century so he may need to brush up on his improv skills.

Went today as have a Merlin pass. We have been here before about 6 years ago. Have to say the staff and performers are amazing and we really did enjoy it but I feel that madam Tussaud's have taken all the best bits out. The photos are still the same as 6 years ago. There river ride has been taken away and now you don’t get a free drink in the Tavern at the end. I understand you can’t change the “history” of the amusement but very disappointed with what they have changed.

A great experience to be done. The groups aren't massive and you learn a lot. It is a good laugh and you learn things about Londons history.
