    We were waiting at the meeting place and got a text from the guide they had an emergency and could not come and ask if we had another day to book we didn’t we only had three days in London and this tour is what we came for! I felt like they should of had a backup plan for another guide instead of ruining our vacation!

    Our tour didn't happen as per other reviews on this booking. Our tour guide Nick reached out the night before notifying of cancellation "due to a security issue at the palace". To Nick's credit he re-booked us for another day which come the next day was cancelled "due to a security issue at the palace". Nick did offer a full refund at that point which was appreciated (I am waiting for this to process at the time of this posting). I really would have like to experience this tour, but seems it has a pattern of being continually cancelled. I have to trust that there was a security issue, but did ask around and nobody seemed to be aware of anything. I understand things happen and will be happy getting refunded due to extenuating circumstances if they did in fact occur. I don't know that I'd recommend booking this given the track record :-(

    Nick the tour director canceled this with us TWO times without notice and THEN VIATOR refuses to reimburse stating "Sorry for the inconvenience but we cannot reimburse this. La Vacanza Travel is at fault for advertising a tour with a director whose multiple reviews state the same thing, he cancels without notice AND then not reimbursing their customers when it is not their fault is unbelievable! I am also contacting the Better Business Bureau.

    Our guide canceled the night before so we had no experience, magical or not! Very disappointed. Asked if we could reschedule for Monday; we were leaving London on Monday and been traveling thru Scotland; little or no internet…my first chance to respond. Nick said he would refund our money. I haven’t checked our account. Please verify that has or will occur. I guess there was no one else who could takeover in an emergency!

    The tour guide canceled our private tour last minute with no replacement. Worked with La Vacanza Travel customer service for close to an hour and their only concern was to send an email to the operator. Later that day I received a follow up email stating they regret to inform me that they could not refund my money. We had one opportunity to see something on our bucket list and I not only was it ruined, They didn’t even offer to try and accommodate or provide a compromise. Then to top it off, they don’t even offer a refund for a canceled tour? I’ll just send this over to American Express as fraud and let them deal with it.
