We had a great morning out with the crew, led by the very personable Simon (Soloman). They knew how to avoid the crowds and we got in some good snorkeling. All in all, a great 1/2 day tour to Khai Island.

Nothing like the image! Covered with hundreds of sun beds and umbrellas to rent for an hour to get out of the sun. Many, many boats there at the same time.

Great tour. Well managed. Three islands although the second one is really a boat stop for snorkelling. The organisers took good care of us with fruits and snacks and drinks offered at each island The transfers were on time and Oh Hoo travel was professional and responsive at all times

We were looking for a half day cruise and this worked out perfectly. We visited 3 nice islands and were able to swim and snorkel. Simon and the crew were great and accommodating. Items to be aware of: There will be charges for umbrellas and lounge chairs at two of the islands. They each cost 150 Baht. Water shoes will make the experience much nicer as there are rocks in the water when entering from the beach. There are also sea urchins you need to be aware of. Please also be advised that if you are staying by Patong Beach, it takes about an hour or so to get to the boat. We would do this trip again.

I was disappointed by how boring the Khai islands are. I mainly signed up for the snorkeling, but the first island was so busy there was nothing to see, and the second island where only snorkeling would have been the itenerary was canceled completely due to the jelly fish. I would have given 2 stars, but on the last island Simon took us to see the clownfish which was amazing, so I give 3 stars. Also the guides were super nice, we were given fresh fruits and refreshers, so it is really not the guides' fault, but the nature of the Khai islands really.
