They took us to a complete tourist trap. Only on the sand for 15 minutes and the rest was in a tourist area with malnourished camels, long lines and crowds and a completely fake "performances and food" desert camp created by Royal Vision Tourism that wasnt even in the desert. There was no henna, no real bedouin experience, awful food and the sand dunes were shallow and unimpressive.
First and foremost, let’s look at what they offer and promise and then discuss one by one: Package Includes: * Dune Bash Drive-In 4X4 By Professional Driver * Sandboarding & View Point of Desert * Complimentary Drinks, Coffee & Tea * Unlimited Soft Drinks & Water Pack * Camel Riding * Arabic Costumes for Pictures * Henna Tattoo for Females & Kids * Arabic Hookah - Self-Service in Smoking Area * International Buffet Dinner, Vegetarian & Non-Vegetarian with BBQ * Live Entertainment Shows • Belly Dance, • Tanoura Dance, • Yalla Dance • Fire Show --------------------------------- Now! At the very first they bring you to a quad station where you have to pay to drive. If you don’t want to drive you have to wait for 45 minutes before you go to the next station. The next station is 20min far away. There you’ll change the car and get a 10min dune bashing ride that leads to the so called „camp“ where you’ll get the above mentioned experiences - at least that’s what you think. Once arrived you’ll get approached by a bunch of people trying to sell you either pictures, traditional Emirati wear or a picture with a falcon. After you’ve successfully told everyone you’re not interested you’ll be approached by people telling you about the „camel ride“ which appears to be for free but… the camels you see first (which are the ones you can actually do a proper camel ride with) are chargeable! The so called „free camel ride“ is actually at the next station and in fact has a looooong queue for literally just 1min on the camel to take some stupid pictures. Clearly a trap! When it comes to sandboarding or viewing point - there has been nobody actually providing any of it… so that service didn’t exist. Arabic costumes for pictures which is included in the package has not been offered nor have we seen it. Actually, we got approached by plenty of people trying to sell us a costume! Let’s talk about the henna tattoo… which is the biggest joke by the way! Once you to the station you’ll see that all the actual henna tattoos are chargeable around 30-50 AED. UNLESS you go for a free one which is literally just one finger and takes less than 10 seconds. See picture attached… When it comes to the hookah we didn’t even try as non of us smokes + even if we would.. we‘d decline the offer! Won’t get any further into it! Coffee, tea as well as warm and cheap plastic water is included and can be taken anytime. When it comes to the „unlimited soft-drinks“ they are only available in the evening after 7PM. So yeah.. another trap! Last but not least, having a private driver that picks you up from wherever you are doesn’t mean anything. Don’t expect a private tour! The only difference is that you won’t be shuffled with random people. It has nothing to do with a private tour … in fact it’s crowded with tourists. So, all in all… when you look at the offer you might be amazed but don’t get fooled by their sneaky marketing bs tactics… it’s a trap. On top of that .. most comments here are not genuine at all, people just do the drivers a favor because they get asked to write a review! Like with most things in Dubai! PS: I can’t tell you anything about the shows or the dinner as we left the spot before any of those started! But hey, they offer you an additional VIP package so you can have food and soft-Drinks before anyone else ;) .. we declined!
I experienced an incredible Dubai Desert Safari with Faisal as our guide and driver, and it exceeded all expectations. Faisal picked us up from our hotel in Dubai and immediately set a friendly and enthusiastic tone for the day. The dune bashing experience was thrilling yet safe, with Faisal showcasing impressive driving skills through the mesmerizing desert landscape. We enjoyed activities like camel riding and sandboarding before witnessing a breathtaking desert sunset. At the desert camp, Faisal ensured our comfort and enjoyment, treating us to a delicious BBQ dinner with a variety of Arabic dishes. Overall, Faisal's professionalism and passion made this desert safari truly exceptional. I highly recommend Faisal as a guide for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Dubai desert in a safe, informative, and enjoyable manner.
Excellent service from Dani, great experience and really attentive guide on the dunes! Would recommend! The tour guide was really attentive and took pictures of all of us and videos
Terrible experience and even worse customer service. Not sure how these guys are able to continue running a business based on similar negative reviews I’d read. After being told we would be eligible for a refund due to the bad weather and bad experience we had… this has now been denied to us and we’ve been told we won’t receive any compensation. They asked us not to write any negative reviews as they were going to fix the situation - but 6 weeks later this is not the case. Book elsewhere - so you don’t get caught out like we did.
