This Fort is fabled with superstitions and supernatural elements. Presently this is a deserted Fort like Fatehpur Sikri and encompasses in itself the market place, imperial seraglio. Originally the main palace used to be seven storied but presently only four stories are intact. Folk lures say that the queen Ratnawati (wife of Raja Madho Singh) had a war of super natural elements with her guard who was also a practitioner of black magic and thus this city come ruins. The historians aver that this city came into peril on account of ensuing war. You also visit some temples in the compound.Duration: 2 hoursStop At: Chand Baori (Step well), Jaipur-Agra Road, Abhaneri 303313 IndiaAfter wards you can enjoy your packed lunch and later you will be driven to Abaneri which is the biggest step well built by King Chandra in 10th century as his summer retreat. This step well compound houses many idols of Hindu deities which were in the nearest temple and after the demolition by Muslim invaders they were kept in this premises.
