Itinerary
Day 1: Jodhpur to Udaipur including Ranakpur
Stop At: Ranakpur, Ranakpur, Pali District, Rajasthan
You will be picked up from your hotel in Jodhpur and be driven by private vehicle to Udaipur (about 6 hours). En-route, you will stop in Ranakpur to visit the sculpted Jain temples. These temples are acclaimed worldwide for their intricate and superb architectural style. Built in the 15th century, the Ranakpur temples are known for being the largest and most important temples of the Jain faith. Upon arrival in Udaipur, you will check into your hotel for two nights. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on beautiful picturesque Lake Pichola.

Day 2: Udaipur Half Day City Tour
Stop At: City Palace of Udaipur, Jagdish Temple Rd City Palace Complex, Udaipur 313001 India
After breakfast, you will visit the City Palace which towers over Lake Pichola. The balconies, cupolas, and towers of the palace give a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding city. This complex consists of four major and several minor palaces, courtyards and gardens. The main part of the palace is now preserved as a museum displaying artifacts.

Stop At: Sahelion Ki Bari, On the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake, Udaipur 313001 India
You will also visit the Saheliyon ki Bari, or Garden of Maids. The garden has a small museum and several attractions such as marble elephants, fountains, kiosks and a lotus pool. The folklore museum is dedicated to the study of folk art, culture, songs and festivals of Rajasthan. You will also have the opportunity to view a presentation of string puppets typical to this area. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore more of this fascinating city.
