We hired Philip as a guide for a 4-5 hour trek. It was fantastic. We started walking at around 6.30am and enjoyed every minute until 11.30am Philip is a happy, easy going young man who has a wealth of interesting information about the flora, fauna of the area and tea! We walked through tea plantations, up to peaks and down through forests. We stopped for a homemade picnic breakfast (thanks Philip's mum, delicious) on a rocky outcrop with spectacular views. The birdlife and Philip's knowledge was prolific. A great morning out, definitely worth skipping your hotel breakfast for.

Philip took us on a couple of hikes around Munnar. He was an amazing guide, showing us loads of plants and other stuff along the way. The views were completely stunning. Would highly recommend if you’re in Munnar!

We were initially going for a walk around the tea plantations but they weren’t allowing permits due to a panther sighting, so Philip offered to take us up the Chokramudi mountain. We had the best time climbing and admiring the view while Philip was the best guide we could ask for, he was very patient and flexible with us. He knew so much about the environment, fauna and animals (including a rare goat sighting!) during our way up. We rounded off the trekking with a snack and chai in Munnar, could not have asked for a better way to spend the day and observe the beautiful views - definitely the highlight of our time here!

Philip is the best guide we could have asked for. He is super friendly, always happy to help and answer our questions, his good energy is contagious. We did the half day trek with waterfall and really enjoyed it. We also had a cooking class with him and his mom and learned a lot + ate a delicious dinner with more than 4 dishes. 100% recommend him.
