This moderate 9-kilometer downhill trek along the foothills of the Himalayas demands a strong physical condition due to its steep downhill descent.
The path is less frequented and somewhat challenging, weaving its way through thickly forested terrain. To embark on this adventure, you'll begin with a 32-kilometer morning road trip from Rishikesh in private transportation, ultimately arriving at Kunjapuri Temple, nestled at an elevation of 1676 meters. Its main allure lies in the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view with majestic sunrise.
Early risers will have the extraordinary opportunity to witness the sunrise, casting its golden glow upon the snow-covered Himalayan peaks. Following this captivating sunrise spectacle, a 9-kilometer downhill trek commences. Along the way, you'll pass through Badhera village & Barkot village, where you can pause for a refreshing cup of tea.
Finally, your journey will lead you along the valley river, with a delightful stop at Secret Waterfalls, offering a chance to cool off and splash in the rejuvenating waters. Ultimately, you'll arrive in the town of Tapovan. Trek ends
