The trip is well organised, and the views are amazing. Definitely worth going - the place on the island is beautiful, the boat ride very pleasant. After coming back to the shore you have another palace to see (grounds only).
You get the boat rides and tickets from the premises of the city palace itself. For an adult the cost is 500 and kids are 300. The boat takes around 15 minutes to reach jagmandir and has life jackets on the seats for your safety. You can view many ghats, city palace, lake palace, amarvillas and Leela palace during the ride. Rides are operational till 5 pm and you can take them in an interval of 30 minutes. The whole process was conducted very smoothly. Once inside the jagmandir, there is only one restaurant serving food with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was good, the potion size decent and the ambiance superb! You can stroll on the premises and gardens and enjoy the view. It was neat and clean and well maintained. For the return, boats are available from the gardens of the jagmandir.
The place - vibe and feel is amazing but more area should be open gor tourists to explore there. The boat ride to jagmandir was pleasant .
Jagmimder island is constructed by Maharajas of Udaipur in four Acre and now converted in luxury hotel and for destined marriages. Awesome construction and memorable to visit here, just behind the Taj palace. In case one choose to boat in pichola lake and at the end they drop here to enjoy few moments. After every twenty minutes boat will pic you to leave main . Fresh and delicious food is served, no doubt bit expensive but add flavor in one's life. Excellent location to watch whole of Pichola lake and nearby hills.
