Stop At: Valara waterfalls, Idukki India
On the way to Munnar, you can see these waterfalls. Valara Waterfalls is known for the lush greenery surrounding it and is a lovely spot. Waterfalls will be more beautiful during monsoon time.

Visit Cheeyappara waterfalls which are located a few kilometers en route to Munnar.

Day 2: Full Day Munnar Sightseeing
Stop At: Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, Munnar India
After having delicious breakfast at the resort, drive for a full day munnar trip. Trip Start from Rajamalai National Park where you can enjoy spotting the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and several other wildlife species.

Stop At: Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Top Station Highway, Munnar 685616 India
Mattupetty Dam, near Munnar in Idukki District, is a storage Concrete Gravity dam built in the mountains of Kerala, India to conserve water for hydroelectricity. The most attractive part of Mattupetty dam is its still water which reflects the tea garden around. You can engage yourself with water sport activities like speed boating organized by district Tourism Promotion Council of Idukki (Munnar) and enjoy the pretty natural surroundings of this beautiful dam.

Echo point is a scenic destination located in Munnar. It got its name from the natural echo phenomenon here.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Kundala Dam Lake, Top Station, Munnar India
This spectacular spot is about 8 km away from Echo Point. Apart from a panoramic view of the lake, you can experience the mesmerising views of the tea plantations on the slopes around. The place is also known to host blooming Cherry Blossom flowers and Neelakurinji flowers. Boating in Kundala Lake too is an experience worth trying. Pedal boats, Kashmiri shikaras, and rowboats are available for hire.

As the name suggests, elephant herds come down to drink water from the Dam. There is a lake and tea plantation adjacent to the Dam.

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady by Road
Pass By: Thekkady, Thekkady, Idukki District, Kerala
Today morning, following your breakfast at the Munnar hotel/resort, pack your bags and check-out from the hotel/resort. Hereafter, you will be driven towards the gorgeous Thekkady town, where you can indulge in an array of activities for the rest of the day.
Following your arrival in the town, settle down in a hotel/resort and relax for a while. Post this, embark on a rustic tour to one of the tribal hamlets in Thekkady followed by a plantation tour.
Stop At: Periyar Lake, Thekkady India
The Periyar Lake is located at the center of the Periyar National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary. On Arrival check in to hotel. You can experience Boating here.
