The tea plantations are worthy the long drive there. They are breathtaking even if the sun is not always up. The Tea Museum was interesting. The driver, arranged by Lijo Jose, knew the pitfalls of long drive and made the journey bearable by the coffee stops.

POINTS POSITIFS - Mon chauffeur, un jeune homme, était très gentil. - Vous serez arrêtés dans différents points d'intérêts et le chauffeur se fera un plaisir de vous prendre en photos. - Le repas du midi est un buffet dans un bon restaurant POINTS NEGATIFS - Mon chauffeur était un fou du volant: il doublait tout le monde, allait vite, téléphonait et regardait son téléphone en conduisant pour poster des photos sur les réseaux sociaux ... - Nous avons fait beaucoup trop d'arrêts inutiles sur la route, alors que je voulais voir les plantations de thé avant tout et Eravikulam: résultat, arrivée trop tard pour Eravikulam & Mattupetty Dam que je n'ai pas pu visiter. Mon chauffeur m'a obligée à m'arrêter dans un magasin de vêtements ... Bref, j'aurais mieux fait de ne pas prendre ce tour organisé car au final, j'ai payé pour: * Mon trajet en taxi qui m'a donné des sueurs froides * Une visite de jardins des plantes: je n'avais pas prévu ça et préférais aller directement à Munnar ... * La visite du Musée du thé: une vaste supercherie car j'appellerais plutôt ça un magasin ! Je pense qu'il vaut mieux visiter Lockhart Tea Factory * Une marche dans les plantations de thé que j'ai insisté pour faire Mon chauffeur, très synaptique cela dit, a passé son temps à faire des selfies avec moi pour les poster sur ses réseaux sociaux, plutôt que de me faire visiter ce pourquoi j'avais payé.
