Mr Arun gave us a detailed history of Munnar, it's legacy in Tea industry. He was well versed in tutoring us on various types of tea, it's production techniques, and the merits of each type. Congrats to him for the excellent tutorial.
Arun is a friendly, knowledgeable and informative guide who took us round some of the less well trodden paths of a tea plantation, allowing us to spend time in the pickers village and on the dslopes. This was followed by an excellent visit to a tea processing plant and tea tasting. All the way round Arun ably answered all our questions about life in Munnar and life on the tea plantation. We highly recommend this tour if you prefer being a traveller as opposed to a tourist. Thank you Arun for a wonderful trip.
Arun gave us a very special tour of the Lockhart tea plantation, we learnt so much from him! We had access to see the entire process of making the product, from meeting tea leaf pickers to seeing how the leaves are dried and processed, then finally tasting the different products. The views were also stunning and Arun is a very warm and welcoming person - we would highly recommend paying him a visit.

We visited a tea garden in MUNNAR with Aroun and he gave us a lot of explanations, his english is very good and he was patient (he was obliged to repeat very often because of our english level), then we visited a tea factury and tea taste. He advised us a local restaurant for the lunch (not touristical) excellent . You can trust him, he is a real human being. Thanks Aroun for your kindness and générosity.
