Overview

I teach one-to-one hindi lessons at your home or guesthouse in Varanasi or at any place it is convenient, also can teach lessons via Skype. I adapt the lessons to your level and needs, starting with easy dialogues that can help you get around the city and continuing with more deeper hindi grammar. I have been teaching Hindi language for the past 15 years and I am also a poet, having published poems in national literary magazines.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

You can learn hindi with me privately. I start teaching daily life dialogues which you can use on the street (bargaining in the market, asking for prices, places and things or to express your needs). After that you will aso learn the hindi grammar and gradually the whole language to read, write and speak properly.

    Deepankar is a really good teacher with who to learn Hindi. He make me understand and learn in an easy way so I was able to speak Hindi properly and share with people around in markets or other life's situations. He also do on-line lessons which is really nice when you are far away and keep progressing. Namaste

    I took Hindi lessons with Deepankar through Skype many years ago and was able to get by very well in Hindi when I had the chance to visit India. Unfortunately we lost touch and life became busy and I stopped taking lessons. When the Pandemic hit I and I had more time on my hands I reached out to Deepankar and resumed my classes. What a wonderful decision. Deepankar is an excellent teacher. He is able to teach conversational Hindi and is an excellent teacher of grammatical structure. I am very pleased to be able to learn with someone who has a strong mastery of the HIndi language and also of the English langauge. Taking classes through skype will be a great way for me to learn before I visit India again.

    I don't normally write reviews, but I am compelled to write a review in this case. Mr Deepankar comes across as a very nice and genuine person. His teaching makes Hindi a lot easier. I spent a little time beforehand listening to conversations and after a few lessons he made Hindi a lot clearer. I've now had some face-to-face and online lessons. I look forward to continuing as he makes learning easier. As they say in India cheap and best. Definitely would recommend. I wish him many customers. If you have any interest in learning Hindi then you can not go wrong by taking lessons with him.

    Deepankar is a wonderful Hindi instructor that not only will teach conversational Hindi but can take you to the depths of this beautiful language through his talent as a poet and writer. My experience with him was wholesome as he has so much to share about the Varanasi Indian culture as well. This is what makes an amazing language instructor is the capacity to teach not only about the language(Hindi) but also everything that goes with it through the heart that is the basis of human interaction and which allows us the connection through language. I highly recommend you take lessons with him as I have had many language teachers in my life and Deepankar as an outstanding teacher. Me already being fluent in 3 languages myself I continue to better my Hindi with online skype lessons with him. Hope this gives you a taste of what you can learn and experience with Deepankar!     In order to grasp a language, you have to have a teacher who enjoys what he does. Mr Deepankar truly does. From covering the basics of what you'll need in order to navigate day to day conversations. To infusing the culture so that you get a deeper understanding beyond just what to say. He teaches you how to say things and why things are said in the manner that they are so that you are able to truly grasp the language. In turn I find it's been a faster and easier way of learning Hindi. I highly recommend Mr.Deepankar and suggest you look no further. Each lesson is quite affordable, one hour long and the schedule can be to your own accomodations. Give it a go and see for yourself. Nothing to loose and everything to gain.
